Choose games that resemble your idea, then explore market size, releases, reviews, and tags. The numbers help you investigate; the decision is still yours.

Start with similar games
Choose a genre and a game type. The analysis uses titles that have both among their main tags instead of comparing your idea with the whole catalogue.
Look at each signal
Game count, recent releases, approval, and concentration answer different questions. Read them together before deciding whether there may be room.
Colour shows how many games use a tag
In Matrix and Orbit, blue means the tag appears in a smaller share of the group; red means a larger share. Colour does not measure quality, revenue, or chance of success.
Owners and concentration are estimates
Values marked with ≈ are SteamSpy estimates. Concentration is also an estimate based on paid games in the group, not audited revenue.
The data is a snapshot in time
Tags, games, and dates reflect the latest available update. If something is missing, that does not prove it was never attempted or that there is no demand.
